About
Built by a founder who got tired of fighting Search Console
BoastIndex comes from SaaS Experts, a company that builds SaaS tools for digital marketers. We are a product company, not an agency. We needed Google index status to behave like product data, and Search Console kept getting in the way.
Built by SaaS operators who needed indexing data to behave like product data
Our founder, Jasen Fici, has spent decades shipping SaaS products. He has worn every hat that comes with running a software company: writing the first lines of code, selling, supporting customers, and taking products from idea to exit.
Like a lot of operators, he still had to care whether important pages were in Google. Traffic, demos, and content programs all depend on it. Opening Search Console should have answered a simple question: are the URLs that matter still indexed, and what changed since last week?
Instead it became a recurring chore. Export a CSV. Reconcile buckets. Click through URL Inspection one page at a time. Compare screenshots from last month. Argue about which panel was telling the truth. For someone used to shipping monitoring and alerts into products, GSC felt stuck in report mode.
BoastIndex reads Google Search Console index data through the official URL Inspection path. The team tests product claims against live GSC behavior, and indexing guidance on our resource pages is reviewed for accuracy against Google documentation.
What Search Console made hard
GSC is the right source for what Google reports. It was not built as an operations system for people who manage many important URLs over time.
No durable history for the URLs you care about
Coverage counts move, but reconstructing which money pages flipped status between two dates usually means manual exports and spreadsheet diffs.
Conflicting answers for the same page
Page Indexing, URL Inspection, and live tests can disagree. Teams burn time deciding which panel to trust instead of deciding what to fix.
No alerts when index status changes
A page can leave the index quietly. Traffic often becomes the first warning, which is late if the URL is a pricing page, landing page, or client deliverable.
Hard to run across sites and clients
Agencies and multi-brand teams still translate GSC jargon into a clear story: what changed, what matters, and what recovered. That narrative does not come out of the box.
Those gaps are strategic, not cosmetic. Search Console is excellent at inspection. It is weak at recurring URL-level monitoring, change detection, and client-ready reporting. BoastIndex exists to sit on top of that data and make the operational layer usable.
Part of SaaS Experts
BoastIndex is a product of SaaS Experts, Inc., a holding company for online products and services. The company is building a suite of SaaS applications for digital marketers: practical tools for the work marketers and growth teams actually do, not another agency deck.
That focus comes from how Jasen prefers to build. After early career years in the 90s internet boom helping grow a portal company from a four-person shop through an IPO, he learned how outside pressure can push bad product decisions. He later founded and bootstrapped companies his own way, with sustainable growth and customer value ahead of pitch-deck theater.
Two of those companies reached successful exits. Velaro helped define the live chat category and grew to multi-million dollar revenue. StatusCast gave companies a clear way to communicate during service disruptions and was later sold to Xurrent. The through line is the same: find a real operational pain, ship software that reduces it, and stay close to the people using it.
The founder behind the work
Jasen started writing software back when that meant 8086 assembly. He still describes himself as a full-stack business leader: technical enough to build the product, practical enough to run the company around it. Cut him and he bleeds code. What he likes most is running SaaS companies and watching customers get real-world benefit from what ships.
BoastIndex is that instinct applied to Google index status. Not because we set out to join the SEO tools market, but because monitoring index health looked a lot like the operational problems we already knew how to productize.
More of the personal background lives on the SaaS Experts about page.
